The application and documentation must be submitted through the application portal within 30 days of starting the application. There is a $30 non-refundable processing fee required to be paid by debit/credit card by calling the WYOJATC Office (307)234-8311 after the application and documents have been uploaded. 

Documents Required:

• Proof of Minimum Age of 18 (copy of birth certificate or copy of passport)
• Driving Record within 30 days of application submission (available through the Department of Motor Vehicles)
• Driver's License
• Proof of 1 credit of Algebra I or Higher Math or Tech Math Completion
• Proof of High School Graduation or GED (transcripts from school or GED completion certificate).  College graduation can replace high school graduation.     

  **Math Note—The Wyoming JATC will accept the following courses: Introductory Algebra (or any level of algebra higher than "pre-algebra"), Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Tech Math, Integrated Math, & Contemporary Math.

  If the course you took is not listed, and the course involved Algebra, you may submit a copy of the course catalog from the school that specifically references the course listed on your transcript. If the course catalog states that the course you took included algebra (or anything higher than algebra), you may submit the transcript along with the course catalog listing to fulfill this requirement. If you are unable to obtain a course catalog, and the course you took involved Algebra, you may request that your school write a letter to verify this. The letter must be on original school letterhead, and must be signed by an official of the school. It must specifically reference the course listed on your transcript, and state that Algebra was involved in the course.

• Transcript of College, Trade School or Armed Services training if applicable
• If GED Graduate—Copy of GED Certificate. 
• ALTERNATE ITEMS—Proof of electrical construction experience of at least 2,000 hours and/or DD-214. 

If you do not complete your application within 30 days, you will be required to start a completely new application.
